The ReliaSoft Technical Support Knowledge Base provides information on known issues for ReliaSoft's standard software products and provides solutions to address these issues. 

Known issues are listed below by product and/or you can use the search utility in the panel on the left.


Active Product Versions


Weibull 6 Issues  
* Receive an Error Like "The object invoked has disconnected from its clients" and Must Re-Start the Application in Order to Perform Certain Activities.

RS20002

* On Windows XP computers, problem with the appearance of text in the RS Draw utility. 

RS20007

* All other known issues have been addressed in product updates. [see ALTA 6 Updates]  
ALTA 6 Issues  
* Receive an Error Like "The object invoked has disconnected from its clients" and Must Re-Start the Application in Order to Perform Certain Activities.

RS20002

* On Windows XP computers, problem with the appearance of text in the RS Draw utility. 

RS20007

BlockSim 6 Issues  
* When copying a diagram and pasting it into Microsoft Office applications the graphic does not appear in its entirety.

RS20008

* Receive an Error Like "The object invoked has disconnected from its clients" and Must Re-Start the Application in Order to Perform Certain Activities.

MPC 3 Issues  
* Receive an Error Like "The object invoked has disconnected from its clients" and Must Re-Start the Application in Order to Perform Certain Activities.

Xfmea Issues  
* Receive the message "The application could not validate the license" and you know that the license number is valid. RS20009
* Receive an error when starting Xfmea, such as "Request for permission ... failed" or "Application has generated an exception that could not be handled." RS20011
* Xfmea Standard database (MS Access) is corrupted: receive message "Unable to open this database." RS20012

ReliaSoft.com Issues  
* If you have entered a valid Web Access Code to download software from ReliaSoft.com and a File Download window does not appear... RS20010

Inactive Product Versions (i.e. versions that are no longer updated)
The following product versions are no longer updated. We recommend upgrading to the new product version. [Order an Upgrade]


Weibull++ 5.0 Issues
* Receive the Error "max file size is too small" and Unable to Open or Save Files in Weibull++

* Receive the Error "Do not have appropriate license to use this functionality" or "Unable to create new worksheet" in Weibull++ 5.0 RS20003
* Receive the Error "Unable to process command" When Attempting to Create a Plot in Weibull++ 5.0 RS20004

Unsupported Product Versions 
The following product versions are no longer supported or updated. If you have issues with one of these versions we recommend upgrading to a newer product version.


  • Weibull+ and Weibull++ versions 1, 2, 3 and 4.
