Reliability
Characteristics and Related Documents
MPC 3 allows you to define reliability characteristics and
other details for the systems, subsystems, subsubsystems and
parts included in the analysis. The software contains the
complete list of ATA system and subsystem numbers and
descriptions for you to select from and also provides quick
and easy utilities for defining subsubsystems and parts. You can also attach
"Description and Operation" documents for specific
components.
- MPC
3's Item Maintainability and Reliability Data Entry window allows you to specify
reliability details and other relevant information
for the items in the system hierarchy and also includes built-in logic, based on the ATA MSG-3
guidelines, to help you determine which components represent Maintenance
Significant Items (MSIs) in the analysis.

- You
can import, create, edit and manage "Description and
Operation" documents for items in the system
hierarchy. These D&O documents will be attached to
the analysis and included in the MSG-3 report output. MPC integrates with Microsoft Word for the
creation and management of these documents.
